This park is VERY popular and can accomodate many people. If you want a good spot in the summer, head out early and enjoy the day!
Great outdoor park near the Edmonds downtown ferry. This park has a lower and an upper section. The upper section has a large open field with a large grassy knoll that descends to the lower park.
This park is very fun!! It specifies ages 2-5 years but this park is fun for everyone, especially during the hot summer months. The playground area is divided into three sections; a water area, jungle gym and swings. If your in Edmonds I would definitely recommend stopping by Edmonds City Park.
Great place to bring the kids. Excellent water play area, and beautiful walking trails. Not overrun by rough or unsupervised children, as many of the parks in our south Seattle neighborhood are. Worth driving through Seattle traffic to go here, where kids of all nationalities were actually enjoying themselves, and nobody was overwhelming the park with their presence.
Some spots are a bit marshy in the low lying areas.
The restrooms are spartan but appear well maintained, like any park restrooms.
The lower park has a large spray park area with a bucket drop (I haven't visited this part of the park in detail, but if looks like fun). Next to this is a playground area with various contraptions to keep kids occupied.
Wow, what a fun spray park! Even when the water is off, there's still loads of fun to have on the other play structures. Parking can get a bit limited, especially during high volume times in the summer.
I drive 25 minutes from Bothell just for this park! It is really nice for all ages. There is a special toddler playground and splash pad that is appropriate for little ones, as well as options for older kids along with picnic shelters. The day that I went, the park was so clean and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time!
It has several shelters which can be reserved with BBQ grills next to them. There is parking in the park which can be scarce and street parking outside the park.
This park is well shaded and is mostly dog-prohibited since people occupy the open spaces for playing games and having picnic.
