I ordered the steak and it was cooked perfectly, but was supposed to come with horseradish sauce, but all i got was melted blob on part of the steak, the demi glaze sauce was flavorless. I don't recommend the steak, but the scalloped potatoes were delicious. It came with green beans as a vegetable and they were also, flavorless and waxy tasting, like they pulled them out of bag. I would expect better flavor for almost $30. My son had the fish and chips and they were delicious. They have excellent fish, fries and tarter sauce and the cole slaw with it had a good flavor. The waiter recommended a wine that was delicious and he was prompt to cover our beverages, but our food came to us after it had sat awhile under the warming lights. My son ordered a sundae and it was half melted. We went on a Monday night and the bar was busy, but not the tables. I have had great food and service from Scott's before, but was disappointed this time
I hosted a private dining event in the Koman Room. Working with Sarah to set up this event was very easy. She had rules to work within but was willing to work with me to meet my requests. I had 2 dedicated wait staff take care of my group of 30. They were very efficient and quick to fulfill any requests my guests had. I never heard a single negative comment from anyone in my party. And the food was really good too. Great job Scott's Bar and Grill!
If I could I would probably rate this place 3.5 out of 5. Good food and the staff are always polite. The ambiance is normal but by no means is it bad. The food is fancy but it's pretty standard American food. This review is a little bit biased as I like foreign foods more than American foods. The food is pretty heavy so this isn't the place if you're looking for a light meal. My parents had a couple of their birthdays here and it is definitely a great place. So if you like steaks, burgers, and wine come here. Of course, those aren't the only things on the menu, they have a really good Ruben sandwich and good pastas too. The reason its a 3.5 to me is because it is just another restaurant, nothing phenomenal, but nothing bad either.
It was a very nice evening there. We were greeted with a smile. We choose to eat in the bar since it was busy. Our waiter was on the ball, very pleasant and checked on us offense. We had a couple of questions about menu and he was able to explain and answer all our questions. the bar itself was very comfortable, not noisy, very comfortable table and chairs. All in all, I would say we had a great experience.
Nice restaurant for the business crowd. I come here with people from work a lot and it's a good atmosphere for that. The food is good, but it rarely changes. A menu that is at least semi-rotating would be nice. The bar is good, but lacking in some liquor types (get some absinthe). I've never had bad service and everyone is always very nice.
