All in all, not a bad option for a special date.
Anthony's is ALWAYS fabulous. We've been dining there for years and literally never had a bad experience. The food is always incredible, the seaside atmosphere is lovely, and the service is friendly and professional.
Amazing restaurant with views of the mountains, Puget sound and the marina. Has outdoor seating. The lower level is a cafe with more affordable prices and outdoor table where dogs are allowed. The upstairs is a more upscale version of Anthony's with beautiful interior and a bar, has outdoor patio for the summer.
They've gone from zero to hero in twenty some years. Used to classify it a worst of the chain. VERY enjoyable earlier this fall. It deserves the high ratings and a 5 is good for me.
When friends and family visit from out of state, Anthony's is our go-to location for treating them to the best seafood around.
Excellent food, great service. The menu is not expansive, but they put some care into the items they do offer. Seasonal offerings rotate pretty regularly.
Also, we brought our infant daughter with us to the Kirkland location once, and when she started getting fussy, the restaurant manager came and walked her around so we could finish eating. Anthony's is just the best.
My biggest gripes are the prices being higher than they should, and that some otherwise excellent seafood dishes could be better if they were less stingy with the actual seafood (especially for the price).
This review is just for the Beach Cafe. The food isn't always stellar, especially for the cost, but many menu items are awesome. The service is always great. Our kids love the patio sandbox, which keeps them entertained while the adults can eat a bit more leisurely than usual. One downside is the atmosphere created by the clientele. The Cafe is more laid back at lunch time, but the comments and attitudes from some people beg to differ when bringing kids in casual clothes.
