My go to place for Chinese foodstuff shopping. Nobody has a,greater selection, although some stuff can be gotten online and not in the store. It's not all that clean. There are few nice, helpful folks. But the prices are generally good and the fish sauces, oils and meats are plentiful. There's a good Chinese bbq section, a bakery and a hot foods deli that is decent too. 3.5 stars - solid, if but a little rough around the edges.
Staffs are not friendly and rarely greet customers. Even a simple greeting like "Hi' does not come out of their mouth. I have been here for the past 5 years and the same thing still happens. They always have this hostile look at me whenever I asked for a favor or at the checkout. Other than that the selection is great but I will not come back here again. This is purely my opinion but don't quote me on this. Maybe you will have a different experience than me.
best place in the state for local groceries, seafood and local farm food. prices are the lowest available on the market. the buffet is amazing!!! put as much food in the container as you can, if you can close lid, you are able to buy it for ten bucks. what a deal.
The selection of Asian food is great. They have great fried fish and breads, among other things. The only thing I have a complaint about is that I have experienced some rudeness from the employees there and does not seem very clean.
If you are looking for a special Asian ingredient.. you better know exactly where it's at in the store or plan to walk the entire store. If you don't speak Asian, you will not be helped by anyone in this store because no one speaks English. Not even the tellers when they count your change back. If you can get past the language barrier, if you go often enough to know exactly where everything is, it's all good.
