Anyways, I leave the line and get the books in the cushioned bags, write everything, and get back in line. Well who would've guessed what happens next... The person just in front of me needed to be pointed to their P.O. box so Veronica leaves to show her, AND NEVER COMES BACK. So, I get to ring the bell again... yes, for the third time... When she shows up I ask her if the books will be O.K. in the bags, as I don't want them to get bent. Both books were very well taken care of and was why they sold so quickly when I posted the ad. She says, and I quote, "Ya, 99% of people ship it just like that". Sweet, now we're getting somewhere. But wait, not so fast! After slapping a tracking sticker on the front of the bags, she takes them to a sort of open window behind the counter, I'm guessing there are carts for packages on the other side of the window, because AND I KID YOU NOT she takes the bags, sticks her hands through the windows, FLIPS THE THE BAGS SO THAT THE SPINE OF THE BOOKS IS UP AND THE PAGES ARE DOWN AND DROPS THEM FROM CHEST HEIGHT INTO THE CART!!! WHAT THE...! ARE YOU EVEN KIDDING ME?!

Lady would not take my prepaid mail. Wanted a receipt and could not get a word in with her telling me to drop it off around the corner. I waited in line for a reason.

I have to say this is my very first Google review. I just cannot let anyone else experience what I did here without knowing what to look out for.

Lines are usually long and the automated machine has had a few problems despensing the stickers for postage. It is clean though and the staff is friendly. There is no good parking for overflow furring busy times of the year.

Recently sold a few old college textbooks that I no longer needed on Amazon. These were my first Amazon sales, so I followed to steps Amazon gives sellers after an order is received. I went to the UPS store to check their shipping prices and got a TON of helpful info from the clerk working there about prices, weights, etc. He broke down UPS's pricing and highly recommended I ship through USPS instead to take advantage of their "media shipping" rates. Awesome! Thanks for the help!

These books were in EXCELLENT condition before that... If these books get returned because of damage, I don't even know what I'm going to do. Hindsight, should've gotten insurance even though the items were

Now I head over to the Edmonds USPS branch with the books and packing slips that Amazon allows you to print out. When I get inside, nobody's at the counter, so I ring the bell there. I can hear people laughing in the back so I wait a minute or so and ring the bell again when it appears nobody heard me. Ringing the second time does the trick as I hear someone yell back "hold on a minute!" Cool, off to a great start... Well I'm finally greeted by Veronica, and I quickly explain that I need to ship two books to different locations. Let me say that I haven't shipped via USPS in awhile, but when I did in the past with smaller items, they'd usually grab a bag from behind the counter and pop the item in there and write the shipping info on top. I figured they'd be able to do the same with these, especially since I came with said printed out packing slips. Apparently not, according to Veronica (took a couple tries to get past the broken English) I finally understood that I have to pack it myself in some cushioned bags and write the shipping info on top. Alright... I see the bags you have behind the counter, why not pop it in one of those after making me wait, instead of making me leave the front of the line which has now formed during the time you were chatting away in the back???

Staff is always nice....helpful and precise.

Friendly staff, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Better location and parking as well

Little back story before the reason for me giving this place 1 star:
