I am impressed with the domestic violence councillor "jill" she changed a lot of things for me. I also hold a lot of respect for the honorable judge presiding/ L. Coburn. Be safe and thankyou for keeping us safe. People always have negative things to say, in any arena. However, when their life is on the line, who do they call? The great men and women who risk thier lives so we all can sleep easy. Thankyou men and women of honor and valour! You are my heroes!

2. Edmonds has more police per capita than any other city in the King and snohomish county. Why? the minimal workload these officers have lead to the harassment and need to set up speed traps not to mention a truly unnecessary government expenditure.

3. Edmonds police are seen regularly speeding thru the downtown corridor without lights or sirens on. Their consistent behavior clearly demonstrates how much above the law we and the city allows them to be.

Officers spend hours in local coffee shops not working, but the very short office hours make the police very difficult to access when needed. The police set up speed traps around town yet can frequently be seen driving 40+ on our 25 mph streets and blowing through stop signs on their motorcycles. When they get really bored they ticket people for parking too long even when demand for parking is extremely low. I'm quite disappointed in the local police. I wish they'd act as peace officers.

Absolutely perfect...you just can,t find a better police crew than the Edmonds police there are even a couple of the officers I would take a bullet for they have heart compassion understanding wisdom they know when to be strong and when to be meek

Each time I've contacted the Edmonds PD, they've been polite and very helpful. And that includes the time I got a speeding ticket.

1. Called in a driver who was obviously intoxicates in front of us. Followed the driver for about 10 minutes and police still wouldn't come. As soon as the driver crossed into Lynnwood the Edmonds police refused to continue. Imagine if that driver went on to kill someone?
